Made this cake ABSOLUTELY following all direction. Batter divided into 2 x 8inch round pans as directed. The batter overflowed the pans, making a complete mess in my oven. And at 25 minutes, the pans still “jiggled” like they were full of water. Disaster…was making for a family Easter dessert…of course

Sorry this didn’t work out for you. As you can see from the video and pictures the cake is made in 2 8 in pans. we have never had a problem or issues with the cake not being cooked
or done after 25-30 minutes but you could have cooked it longer until cooked.Reply

Made this for my mother’s birthday. It was delicious! Not sure if it is an altitude difference, but I made this in 2- 9 inch cake pans and it was perfect.(8inch would have been too small.) I made it the night before and stored it in the fridge, but forgot to remove it as soon as I got up in the morning. It was good when it was still a bit chilled but out of this world at room temp!Reply
Omg what a decadent luscious cake The peanut butter filling is so fluffy and creamy and the chocolate cake is dreamy and the ganache on top makes it out of this world My only issue was having flour mixture popping out of kitchen aide mixer Id give this a thousand stars if I could 💕💕Reply
So happy you love this cake. It is one of our favorites!
