Trader Joe’s is one of the most popular places among consumers for grocery shopping, with its low prices, great selection, and quirky atmosphere. If you’re following the WW Freestyle Program (FSP), shopping can be a frustrating chore when you end up spending hours scanning product after product so you can keep track of your FSP points – all the while being surrounded by tempting foods.
Especially if you’re just beginning your WW journey, you may not yet have a broad idea of what foods to avoid and what foods to include in your shopping cart. Here’s your guide to the best Weight Watchers Foods at Trader Joe’s to help you get on the right track!
Trader Joe’s for Weight Watchers – Shopping List
The new WW Freestyle Program points system encourages members to choose healthier foods, with the points assigned to foods based on the amount per serving of the following macros:
- Protein
- Calories
- Saturated Fats
- Sugar
Foods that are high in sugar and saturated fats are given higher points; foods high in protein or calories are given lower points. For the same serving size/quantity, high-protein foods will cost you fewer FSP points than high-sugar foods, for example. And then there are the Zero-Point foods that will cost you, well, zero points regardless of how much of these foods you eat.
To make your grocery shopping a simpler task, and so you won’t have to spend so much time scanning the macros of every product so you can keep track of your FSP points, here are our suggestions for the best Weight Watchers foods at Trader Joe’s. We have categorized the grocery items for your shopping convenience!
