Free Printable Stickers for Planners: Sticker Paper 101
Finding the best sticker paper for planner stickers template files for you can be confusing but here’s a quick breakdown of how to choose the best sticker paper for you:
Sizing
You’ll need planner sticker paper in either Letter or A4 size with one label on a page. The paper will have a sticky backing and you’ll print directly onto this sheet.
Sticker Paper Types
The most popular types of sticker paper for printing printable stickers are matte, glossy, clear, and vinyl.
I recommend starting off with white sticker paper with a matte finish. I share my fave sticker paper manufacturers in this sticker making resource kit.
Matte sticker paper has a flat, non-glossy finish and is my go-to for custom planner stickers. I can write on it with my fave FriXion pens easily and it also has a lovely natural look.
Compatibility
It’s super important that the paper you choose is compatible with your printer as not all are. I recommend getting a few test sheets to check this first before investing in a larger paper purchase.
